I thought it would be fun to welcome March with a belated Valentine post! Because nothing says green shamrocks & leprechaun's like red, pink & purple hearts! Beckett and I hosted a Valentine themed playgroup a few weeks ago (nearly 4, but who's counting?!) with a spread of stickers, paper hearts, crayons, etc so everyone could make Valentines for their dads & family. I also made mini cupcakes for the kiddos and I boxed up large ones for all the mommas to enjoy during nap time. ;)

Jaxon, you rock!

My neighbor's son turned 5 recently and to celebrate, he had a "Rockstar" theme party. How cool is that?! A few days before the party, we braved a cold MA morning & grabbed some photos of him "rocking out" to use as decor & to serve as artwork on some "VIP passes" for his guests. Happy Birthday Jaxon!

Beckett's Snow Day

Growing up in TN, snow days were rare for me. Having already lived in CO and now MA, I think I have more than made up that deficit. Beckett was only a newborn in Colorado when it snowed last year, so this was the first time he really had a chance to get out and play in it.

We bundled him up and Mathew pulled him around on the sled at first…

And he loved it!

Until Mathew stood him up and he face planted into the snow! Here daddy was trying to console him…

So he got back on the sled and went around a few more time until he just wanted to lay on the ground. So we let him…

That's one happy boy! He was trying to catch the snowflakes in his mouth…

In an effort to challenge myself on a weekly & daily basis, I am participating in two photo challenges this year. One is simply to take a photo everyday and post it to Instagram (I plan on using just my iPhone for this challenge). The second is hosted by my favorite camera rental company, LensProToGo (here in MA!). Their photo challenge is a 52 week theme based project and I intend to use my Nikon for this one.
